Fiber artist Lorri Ann Scott magically transforms silk fabrics, ribbon and garments into colorful and visually-striking works using shibori, resist, vat-dye, botanical, and rust dye methods.
Lorri is a self taught weaver, dyer and clothing designer whose work has been published in numbers juried shows and publications, including altered Couture, Quilting Arts, Spindle Shuttle & Dyepot and Belle Armoire. In the 2012 Belle Armoire summer issue Lorri was the feature designer where her upcycled garments aka "wayward threads" were showcased.
She has taught and vended at many national shows and abroad.
She lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains outside Los Gatos, CA.
