ABOUT LORRI

Fiber artist and author Lorri Ann Scott magically transforms silk fabrics, ribbons and garments into colorful and visually-striking works using shibori, resist, vat-dye and dye-printing techniques.

Lorri is a self-taught weaver, dyer and clothing designer. In addition to her own book, Wayward Threads, her work has been published in numerous juried shows and publications, including Altered Couture, Quilting Arts, Spindle Shuttle & Dyepot and Belle Armoire Summer 2012, which showcases her vintage upcycled clothing a.k.a., “wayward threads.”

She has taught and vended at many national shows and never tires of encouraging others to explore an upcycled approach to personal expression.

Lorri resides in the Santa Cruz Mountains outside Los Gatos, CA.
